GoTo Telemed is a technology-enabled telehealth platform supporting licensed healthcare professionals through centralized clinical, administrative, and operational resources. We are seeking experienced and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienists (RDHs) to provide virtual oral health services and patient education through our growing nationwide teledentistry network.

This opportunity is ideal for licensed dental hygienists seeking flexible remote practice while maintaining professional independence and control over their schedules.

This is an Independent Contractor (1099-NEC) position and is not a W-2 employment opportunity.

Position Overview

As a Telehealth Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide virtual oral health assessments, preventive care counseling, patient education, oral hygiene coaching, treatment planning support, and care coordination services within the scope permitted by your state licensure and applicable regulations.

Practitioners may access patient opportunities through our provider portal and self-service patient allocation system in states where they maintain active licensure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual oral health consultations and patient assessments.
• Provide oral hygiene education and preventive care recommendations.
• Review patient medical and dental histories.
• Assist with teledentistry screenings and care coordination activities.
• Support treatment planning through patient education and documentation.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records within the EHR system.
• Deliver services in compliance with applicable state dental practice acts and professional standards.
• Comply with HIPAA, payer requirements, and federal and state regulations.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment within the scope of RDH licensure.
• Manage patient availability, scheduling preferences, and service opportunities through the provider portal.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in at least one U.S. state.
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Strong understanding of preventive dentistry and patient education.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional workspace.
• Commitment to maintaining continuing education and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple active state licenses.
• Previous teledentistry or telehealth experience.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
• Strong patient counseling and care coordination background.

Licensing and Compliance

Practitioners are solely responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and renewing all licenses, registrations, certifications, permits, and continuing education requirements necessary to practice in their jurisdictions.

While GoTo Telemed may provide administrative and operational support resources, compliance with professional licensing requirements remains the responsibility of each practitioner.
